SKR4CH is a browser-based waveform design tool built for music producers, sound designers, and audio enthusiasts who want direct, hands-on control over waveform creation.
The SKR4CH Waveform Designer allows users to visually design custom waveforms, combine drawn and harmonic content, audition results in real time, and export audio files — all without installing software or creating an account.
The core of SKR4CH is an interactive waveform editor that runs entirely in your web browser. Users can:
SKR4CH uses standard web technologies, including the Web Audio API and AudioWorklets, to generate and play sound in real time. The application does not upload waveform data to a server during normal use. The Save menu lets you save a current-version .txt state file or copy a self-contained, current-version shareable link containing the same sound design.
Shareable links are not private: anyone with the link can use or share the embedded design. When a link is opened, its share fragment is captured and removed from the address bar, so later edits do not update the original link.
Because the tool runs locally, performance and responsiveness depend on your device and browser.
SKR4CH does not require user accounts, logins, or subscriptions. You can use the Waveform Designer immediately without providing personal information.
Waveforms and samples you create are generated on your device. SKR4CH does not automatically collect, store, or transmit your waveform data. Creating a shareable link embeds the saved state in the URL on your device; it does not store that state on SKR4CH servers.
Any audio files you export using the SKR4CH Waveform Designer may be used freely in personal or commercial projects. SKR4CH does not claim ownership over exported waveforms or samples.
The software, interface, and underlying implementation of the Waveform Designer itself remain the intellectual property of SKR4CH.
SKR4CH is an actively evolving project. Features, behaviour, and documentation may change over time as the tool is improved and refined.
